I don't really know how it'll be when school let's back in. Christmas was fine..but did anyone see the papers? Maybe the safety of the island is better then being back at Hogwarts. We'll have the walls, a barrier, that horribly slushy sea. Merlin that reminds me...the boat ride. I'm not looking forward to that. Hopefully, but not likely it will be fixed before we go back. At least it won't be over crowded with alumni this time.

I almost forgot gifts came in from my grandparents in Brasil! I'm not sure but I think my Aunt must believe Ireland has warm waters and is crazy enough to think I'll wear one of those bikinis! The jewelry was nice though a pearl each from Japan, next time I'll just owl for some warmer blankets I think though, as our heat went out before mom magicked it..which also was not a good idea.

I just want to let who ever told McGonagall that I was too points happy is wrong, and dead rude. Being a prefect is hard, especially this year, even more then last year because at least last year it was just the staff.

I'm so glad OWLS are over with! Admittedly it was a little off to take them during the..crisis but I'm positive my scores are just fine.If they aren't I'm demanding a retest Hopefully they'll get our scores to us before Christmas because personally I just can't wait that long. It doesn't hurt that Dad says if me scores were high he'd get me an IMAC the purple at that! Not that he really even knows anythign about OWLS but a score is still a score to him.

We won! We won and I don't know how to say it without sounding cocky like Morag use to and I don't know how to not care about sounding rude like Jason, but we did it! First time on a broom in weeks and we won. It's a good sign for the season I hope.

I think we all need to take a step back a breath and perhaps realise that yes something might be happening but maybe, just maybe that our minds are making it worse. A part of us all is still in last year, believing something horrible might just be around the corner but really it's not. It's us so please take a few breaths and if you have any problems go to McGonagall or...even the Aurors if something is really that pressing. A missing cat on a new island and an owl that can fly away isn't that important but if you need to make fliers or something to soothe yourself until they return, which I assure you they will.

What you don't need to do is panic, blame people, constantly harass them even though you can tell they don't want to be sitting by you because you screwed up.

I think that sounds Head Girl enough, I bet I could even get one of those pigs to send a letter in for me next year. Shite that's not private.

I wasn't going to complain. I really wasn't. Of course I found the living conditions not what they were before and a little stuffy but as a prefect I thought it was my duty not to complain. To keep up what little morale we had. I find this completely out of line though. We all worked hard for the spots on our teams I've been on this team since my fourth year as a second string until my fifth year and I'm finding that it looks like all my hard work is down the drain. What about all that training Morag put us through to work as a team? How can that team work if we're all divided?

You know I keep looking at the names and I wonder. Is this something the ministry thought of? Creating a new school, a new environment, new teams all so we'll be one happy cohesive family and file along when the ministry tells us what to do?

I don't want to wear any of those colours or be called onto any of those ridiculous team names, but I'm not letting anyone take my spot.

As a prefect I think this needs to be brought up that people need to stop invading each other's personal spaces. This is a large castle and though we don't have as much free range here as last year it's pertinent that we all keep out of each other's bubbles. I've seen people feeling as though that they are older or more privileged they can do such things but stalking constantly making the person feel uncomfortable is unacceptable and I will take points away.

Hogsmeade is this weekend! Who's going to try Puddifoot's new dessert?

So I hear everyone's been having a fun time outside. Well we have here too. Of course no one really participated in the easter egg hunt, and I didn't really join any of the activities the had lined up.Since they were lame. The meals have been pretty decent and some of the teachers even went home for the holiday! It was basically like living alone in a giant castle with just a few people. Not many house rivalries or quidditch fuss. I actually liked it like this, it seemed like a vacation almost really, just the same setting.

I have to say that everyone here should realise I am still a prefect. We deserve respect even if we aren't pure bloods. I never thought I'd come out and say anything. Honestly I'm still not even saying much. All I'm saying is that as a perfect and woman I think more respectful attitudes are necessary. This incident will not stop me from doing the duties given to me by Dumbledore. I'd also like to say such stupid acts are just childish and ignorant. Teachers should not tolerate it!
